Time & materials
Best for exploratory projects or when requirements are likely to evolve. You pay for the time spent, with regular check-ins to adjust direction as needed. Transparent, flexible, and well-suited to iterative development.
Retainer
Best for ongoing work — maintenance, new features, and continuous improvements after launch. A fixed number of hours per month, reserved for you. Gives you predictability without committing to a full project engagement.
